Built by Aloha Pools, the circular spa offers residents a calm sanctuary in the sky, combining refined architectural design with high-performance commercial engineering.

The client’s vision was to create a premium rooftop amenity that would enhance the lifestyle offering of the development while becoming a defining feature for residents. Positioned beside the rooftop lounge and dining areas, the spa provides uninterrupted views across Melbourne’s skyline while maintaining a relaxed and social atmosphere.

The spa’s circular form creates a strong architectural statement while naturally encouraging interaction. Curved entry steps and integrated seating are seamlessly built into the structure, ensuring comfort, accessibility and a clean visual finish.

Premium non-slip glass mosaics line the interior, providing durability and safety while reflecting light beautifully within the water. A custom dropface coping edge creates a crisp, continuous waterline that strengthens the connection between the spa, surrounding deck and the skyline beyond.

Subtle fibre-optic lighting enhances the spa after dark, illuminating the perimeter and steps with a soft glow while maintaining safety and compliance. Constructing the spa at rooftop level presented several logistical challenges. Materials, structural components and plant equipment were craned into position, and installation required careful coordination between trades within a constrained rooftop environment. Despite these complexities, the project was delivered with precision, ensuring long-term durability and reliable performance.
